- Dates
- 27 Jul – 8 Aug 2026
- Location
- Bandung & Garut, ID
- Level
- Postgraduate (MSc)
The Summer School on Renewable Energy Systems will be held in Indonesia, coordinated by the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics — Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and the ITB–TUM SEED Center. Participants are postgraduate (master’s program) students from both domestic and international backgrounds. The event runs from 27 July to 8 August 2026 in Bandung and Garut.
The programme discusses renewable energy systems with a focus on their role in the electrical energy system, examining technology, global development, best practices, and their relationship to environmental issues across solar, geothermal, hydro, and wind power. Techno-economic and entrepreneurial aspects are also covered, alongside the electrical systems that manage the integration of renewable energy and the broader question of how countries, and the world, respond to the energy transition.
The Summer School combines lectures, workshops, and participation in the International Conference on Power Engineering and Renewable Energy (ICPERE), with a short cultural event arranged in Bandung.
